Ain’t She Sweet? {Medford, NJ Baby Photographer}

This past weekend, with the help of my assistant, nanny, mother’s helper, and indentured servant Caitlin Scott, we finally took Lucy’s 6 month portraits.  Sure she’s 7 months now but traditionally the 6 month portraits are done as soon as the baby can sit unsupported because a baby who knows how to sit up also LOVES to show off her new skills for the camera!  At a very minimum, in the baby’s first year, you should get portraits done as a newborn (first 1-2 weeks), when the baby learns to sit and when the baby learns to walk which is usually around the 1st birthday.  These visual milestones are more important to chronicle than the EXACT date the baby turns 6 months, because us Mom’s are WAY to busy to notice that.  But chances are, you’ll notice when your baby start’s sitting up, so be sure to celebrate the occasion with a trip to Crane Photography for some great portraits like these!

Does it get any cuter than this?

This is the flower prop I photographed Lucy in as a newborn and I'll probably take one of her standing in it as well.
